BXDE 2020 - Cancelled

 

It is with regret that Witley and District Motor Cycle Club confirm that the Boxing Day Enduro is cancelled for 2020.

 

This is due to the further restrictions announced by the Government this week, namely the moving of a number of areas into Tier 3. 

While the event itself is just within a Tier 2 area, the vast majority of riders (and all our key organisers) are located in Tier 3 areas (Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, South Hampshire and Surrey less Waverley) who would be unable to attend the event.

 

The Government's official guidance for residents of Tier 3 areas says: "Avoid travelling out of the area, other than where necessary such as for work, education, youth services, medical attention or because of caring responsibilities... People in tiers 1 and 2... must only go to tier 3 locations for essential reasons."

The Committee had hoped to get the event off the ground to end 2020 with our landmark enduro for our members, but unfortunately this now is simply not possible. All riders will receive a refund in the coming days.
