The International Six Days Enduro is the pinnacle of international off-road motorcycle sport.
Witley MCC members have been competing successfully in "The Olympics of Motorcycling" for well over 20 years.
Even before this time, Club riders took part in the International Six Days Trial in the 1960s and 1970s.
Calling all Witley & DMCC Enduro Riders!
The ISDE is the oldest competition in the off-road motorcycle calendar and now, in its 96th year, the ‘Olympics of Motorcycling’ is still, at its core, a tough endurance event.
Riders will race eight-hour days, for six days, before doing all their own bike maintenance in the evening work time. In 2022, the ISDE will be held at Le Puy en Velay, France.
Witley & DMCC hopes to send at least one team of three riders and is looking for current active Club members who wish to be part of this event. The Club is also looking for Club members to be part of the support crew for this prestigious event.
It is important that prospective riders understand the personal costs associated with this event.
From experience, we anticipate that the event will cost around £5,000 per rider. While this is a lot of money, the ISDE really is a fantastic opportunity to ride as part of the Team GB contingent in France at the very pinnacle of our sport. No other event can match the unique challenge and atmosphere that the ISDE brings.
