CENTENARY 2024

A very big Thank You to everyone who came along to the Rural Life Living Museum on Saturday for our celebration of 100 years of Motorcycle Sport. Your presence made for a memorable occasion as members past and present enjoyed each other’s company.

Over 30 Silver Badge holders were there, and Bernard Jay belatedly received his Gold Badge for 50 years’ membership.

Also on site were over 40 machines of all types and ages - and special thanks to everyone who brought (or rode) a bike for everyone to enjoy. We also had a visit from the Mayor of Waverley, Cllr John Ward, who was interested enough to stay for over an hour and a half of his busy day.

Extra special thanks to those who put the show together and made it all happen on the day, including Ian George, Dave Kavanagh, Paul Jay, Andy Hewett, Jane Richards, Barry Brockman, Rebecca Brockman, everyone who helped take it apart (and - apologies to anyone I have missed…🙂)

Witley & District Motor Cycle Club has a long, rich history – 100 years of motorcycle sport in Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire.

We are proud to celebrate our Centenary and invite you to join us at this milestone as we look back on our achievements and forward to a challenging future.

Witley has an enviable record of success in running popular off-road sporting events – enduro and trials are our main areas of activity in recent years. The Club’s regular participation in International Six Days Enduro is a particular focus.

The competitive ethos of the Club is complemented by an enthusiastic road riding section, and we also run several popular social events each year.

Thank you to all of our members and supporters, past and present, who have been such a vital part of our club's legacy.

Here's to another 100 years of motorcycle sport!
