WITLEY MEMBERS AT THE ISDE (PDF)

The International Six Days Enduro is the pinnacle of international off-road motorcycle sport.

Witley MCC members have been competing successfully in "The Olympics of Motorcycling" for well over 20 years.

Even before this time, Club riders took part in the International Six Days Trial in the 1960s and 1970s.

The ISDE is the oldest competition in the off-road motorcycle calendar and now, in its 96th year, the ‘Olympics of Motorcycling’ is still, at its core, a tough endurance event.

International Six Days Enduro –
Spain 2024

Witley and District MCC are proud to welcome back our successful ISDE Team for 2024:

Dan Alldred
Robert Carey
Neil Foster

In addition, Ben Alldred was riding with Paul and Brad Armstrong to form a joint Witley/SETRA team.

Most regrettably, Ben had to withdraw after three days with a severe tendon problem.

Well that’s a wrap!

Huge congratulations to our riders Dan Alldred, Rob Carey, Neil Foster, Paul Armstrong and Brad Armstrong on completing the ‘Olympics of Motorcycling’ FIM International 6 Days of Enduro - ISDE.

A huge well done to Ben Alldred too, who completed three days before withdrawing due to injury - we know he will be back.

The Witley Warriors team climbed one more place to 44th in the world of 124 club teams on the final day of competition.

Witley/ SETRA MCC Official finished 87th - both very respectable placings (5th and 8th in the British Teams of 13).

Individual results out of 406 club team riders from across the world:

Alldred Dan - 139th - Silver

Armstrong Brad - 196th - Bronze

Carey Rob - 233rd - Bronze

Armstrong Paul - 269th - Bronze

Foster Neil - 288th - Bronze

Our utmost appreciation must go to the support crew that ensured our teams' success: Ian George, Barry Brockman, Dave Kavanagh, Mike Powell, and Richard Alldred.

Godalming Carpets & Flooring for the shirts, MotoMine for tyres and many more. Ian too for all the Witley TV updates - we hope you’ve enjoyed them. Also to our Committee and members, who continue to support our teams financially and with words of encouragement all week.

Finally, to the ACU British Contingent ACU British ISDE Team including Witley members Shaun, Claire, Connor, and Bella. Without the British effort in the paddock, none of this would be possible.

These are the 24th and 25th Witley teams we have sent to the ISDE since 1997, and we look forward to many more.
