H C WAKE TRIAL
• Saturday 9th November 2024
This year’s Charlie Wake Trial, incorporating the Southern Experts Trial, is to be held on Saturday 9th November at the classic Tickfold Farm venue at Kingsfold, West Sussex RH12 3SE.
With a running stream acting as the feature for many sections, with steep banks and rocks to keep variety, the Witley MCC Team under Guy Chandler and Terry Tidbury will set out 10 sections to challenge rider’s skills.
This event is a firm favourite in the South East calendar with classes for Novice, Intermediate and Expert. Start time 10.30am.
OBSERVERS WANTED!
We would ideally like to have each of the sections observed by two people. It’s a big ask to find that many willing volunteers but you will get to see the very best in the South performing on sections you wouldn’t believe are possible.
Ask someone you know that will team up and help the Club out. It’s much more fun with someone else there, so please give it some thought and let us know; email news@witleymcc.co.uk
Or call Ian George 07951 580766
Yes, it will be muddy, possibly damp, slippery, but it will be a great day.
If you’ve not observed before but want to get involved don’t worry, we can team you up with someone that knows.
It’s a great event, but it will be even better if you’re there.
We are delighted to confirm that Witley and District MCC will be hosting the Southern Experts trial once again this year in collaboration with Sunbeam MCC.
This year, we are heading to the clay of Sussex, at Tickfold Farm. This wooded venue plays host to the popular Charlie Wake Trial every year and is a firm favourite with riders.
For the Southern Experts trial, our team under Guy Chandler will be plotting a fantastic course, suitable for top riders and clubmen. The event incorporates the Charlie Wake Trial and classes include Southern Expert, Clubman Expert, Intermediate and Novice. The event is not suitable for beginners.
With hard standing parking, spectators are welcome on the day.
