ISDE
The International Six Days Enduro is the pinnacle of international off-road motorcycle sport.
Witley MCC members have been competing successfully in "The Olympics of Motorcycling" for well over 20 years.
Even before this time, Club riders took part in the International Six Days Trial in the 1960s and 1970s.
The ISDE is the oldest competition in the off-road motorcycle calendar and now, in its 96th year, the ‘Olympics of Motorcycling’ is still, at its core, a tough endurance event.

IT'S OVER!
We are pleased to announce that all our Witley team completed the event despite some quite serious setbacks.
They brought Witley MCC to 41st place out of the 128 club teams entered from across the world – and we are very proud of them!
Great work by Simon (216), Guy (147) and Josh (114), by Elliot, and by all the Witley support crew who took time out to travel to France.
Meanwhile, in the Trophy competition, Great Britain had their best result ever, with the men and women both taking their respective World Trophy against strong opposition, and the junior team taking 4th spot.

Team Announcement
Witley and District MCC are proud to announce our ISDE Team for 2022.
Simon BEKEN is our first team rider and this will be his second ISDE with Witley MCC, having previously ridden in Poland 2004 achieving a Silver Medal. Simon is no stranger to riding BEC events, SEEC rounds, together with the Dawn to Dusk 12 and 24 hour competitions. He will be using his grit and experience to guide the team through the week.
Guy CHANDLER is our second team rider for his first ISDE. Guy is an accomplished technical motorcyclist, having achieved strong results not only in enduro, but also trials such as the Manx Two Day Trial. He will be hoping to complete his first edition of the ISDE.
Josh KIRBY rounds off our trio of riders as a real all-round sportsman. Josh has previously won a Gold Medal (P18) at the 2020 Sea to Sky extreme race in Kemer, Turkey, won the British Enduro Clubman E2 Championship (2nd Overall Clubman), and also competing in the Elite British Championship Supermoto series. He will be bringing his wealth of experience together for a new challenge in the ISDE.
Our Team Manager will be Elliot Beken, and our Reserve Rider is William Wilson.
Puy en Velay in France will provide the backdrop for this year's International Six Days Enduro, commencing on Monday 29th August and finishing on Saturday 3rd September.
The 'Olympics of Motorcycling' tests riders' abilities to the limit, with eight hour days, and 1,500 kms of off-road terrain, all while maintaining your own machine.
Keep your eyes peeled for riders 720, 820 and 920! We'll be posting updates on this page as soon as we have them.
Best of British lads!
